That’s what campers and staff have told us year after year. We use the highest possible standards in menu planning and food preparation. Homemade bread and buns, soups, daily salad bar, yummy baked goods, amazing barbecues and more — great food is a very important part of our child’s summer. Our food is truly ‘home made’. We avoid using pre-packaged ‘ready-to-serve’ items that have become common in the food service industry. Our baked goods are made on site daily. Fresh fruit is available 24/7, and a morning fruit and afternoon nosh (snack) helps keep campers and staff nourished in between meals during a busy day of activities. A huge salad bar is served at lunch and dinner that includes bean and pasta salads and various vegetables. Long-standing favorite meals include our creamy baked macaroni and cheese, chicken wings, home-made soups, pizza, pasta-bars and our full walk-through buffet breakfast on Saturday that serves just about everything! An evening snack is served every night with milk and juice.

Special dietary needs

From vegetarian to food allergies, special dietary needs are attended to with care and detail. We will work with parents to ensure campers with Gluten Free allergies can enjoy a healthy diet. Even the ‘picky-eater‘ will find our food terrific. In addition, we can accommodate those who are strictly kosher (call us for more information). We are PEANUT and TREE NUT AWARE, ensuring a safe environment for those who are allergic. This means that no baking is done with any nuts and we work with parents to share ingredients in our commercial packaging to ensure campers are safe and avoid items we cannot guarantee are ‘peanut free’.
